Now, a girl's gotta have shoes. Oh how I loved my knee-high laceups with a 3-inch heel. Had to sell them on ebay because practicality killed romanticism and a pair of warmer boots was needed. Alas. I sometimes have dreams about them. They usually don't say much, just look at me with disappointment. "Why did you sell us? We were such a good pair," they say.
